      Course overview

      This course aims to develop skills in the Arabic language. Depending on the theme and exercise, different teaching approaches and activities are used in class. While a task-based approach will engage you in collaborative learning. The natural approach aims to increase your motivation in language learning through teacher-student and student-student communication in the target language to facilitate learning.

      In this course, students will learn and express themselves in spoken Arabic, both in formal and informal situations.  A wide range of topics appropriate for day-to-day conversation will be covered: e.g. common greetings and expressions, introducing oneself, ordering in a restaurant, going shopping, seeking and providing information, expressing likes and dislikes, and describing daily activities.

      Choose this course if you want to practice and improve the following topics:

      • Knowing the alphabet and its pronunciation.
      • Knowing the basic expressions of everyday life
      • Asking for and giving personal information.
      • Understand commonly used terms in topics like family and school.
